Venerabela's Commission Terms of Service
Full Time Digital Artist
-Specialties-
Furry Art, Humanoid Art, Space Scenery, Eldritch/Horror Art, Twitch Emotes/Banners, Graphic Design-BEFORE YOU COMMISSION!-
Any and all characters that I would draw in my art are all legal, consenting adults of the age of 18 or over. If the character I draw is underage, it is ONLY from cartoon shows (IE Ash from Pokémon, Ed Edd n Eddy), and ONLY in SFW and non-kink fashion. I do not draw anyone under the age of 18 in ANY kind of kink related fashion, and never will. This goes for my business model. I am primarily an artist intended for mature and adult audiences. If you are under the age of 18, I would encourage you to wait to commission me until you are of legal age. If you commission me under false age pretenses, pretending to be 18+ when you are not, your commission will be canceled, your money refunded, and you will be barred from commissioning me in the future. This holds true even after you turn 18. My work is trust based. I cannot trust someone who lies to me. No exceptions.-SERVICES RENDERED AND RIGHTS TO REFUSE-
My style is my own. I have worked for years to learn and grow. Please do not come to me expecting me to emulate someone else’s style. This is rude to me, and is rude to the artist you want me to emulate.
I retain the right to refuse service to anyone should the idea fall outside my terms of service, the commission form given is incomplete, or actions or words of the individual seeking my work are against my own personal morals, such as the person spewing hateful rhetoric. I will more often than not say why I am denying service.-CRYPTO AND NFTs-
I am vehemently opposed to the recent up-spike of crypto related exchanges, particularly relating to NFTs. If you see any of my work being sold on OpenSea or other NFT sharing and selling websites, I encourage you to reach out to me to let me know.
I do NOT approve the use of my art for crypto/NFT nonsense. I do not want my art tied to some chain of code that was created by flooring a bunch of video cards and pumping tons of carbon dioxide into the air.-HOW MY COMMISSIONS WORK-
The process for my work is fairly simple, but may sound more complex.
My commission form is always open to submit for. I encourage you to take your time with submitting it so no information goes amiss when submitting.
When a month is about to end, I will take up to ten form entries. I will let you know I am going to take your entry and what the final price will be.
During the month, when I get to your form entry, I will then ask for payment up to 48 hours before I begin drawing, and then share WIPs with you as I go to make sure the image is what you are looking for. Please see the next heading for information regarding the edits process.
After the image is complete, I will give you the HD file, an upload-appropriate sized file, and a public viewing file. The public viewing file is for sites such as Twitter to avoid or mitigate AI collection.-EDITS AND ADJUSTMENTS-
It is your responsibility to thoroughly check for edits when I send WIPs. I am only human. I make mistakes, especially if I don’t know the character involved.During the sketch phase, which is when I will show color-coded rough skeletal drawings to get the pose, expression, and other parts of the image right, it is the best time to request edits to the base body shape and pose. I do realize that some people may have difficulty in getting their thoughts out as to how they want something to look. I understand this. Please take the time to make sure your thoughts are put out properly when requesting edits, as rushed thoughts may come out confusing. If you are able, red-lining changes also helps me better visualize. After the sketch phase comes the lining phase, which I will still accept edits, but less of them. Please make sure that everything with the sketch phase is what you want to see when I line the image. Sudden additions of other lined elements that weren’t there on the sketch phase is a bit inconvenient and adds more work. After lining comes the color phase. Make sure BEFORE I color that the lining is good. Take the extra time to check it over for any issues, as I will only allow a set number of edits to the linework during the color phase once it’s complete before I will request an additional charge for edits, as edits at this point should be color related.-POSTING ART AND CREDITING-
When you receive the completed work, you are perfectly free to post it elsewhere with the following restrictions:
-The work may not be passed off as your own.
-The work may not be resold, or edited or altered with the intent of reselling it.
-My logo is not to be removed. That is me signing my art as mine. If I find my art to be edited in this manner, you will at the very least be barred from commissioning me again.
-If posted on more wide-spread sites like Twitter, Facebook, etc, please use the resized .jpg file with the watermarks. This is to try and keep AI bots from learning my art without the logo/watermark. FA and DA can be uploaded with the .png file.-PATREON-
By default, I will post a commission for early access to Patreon. If you are uncomfortable with this, or wish to keep it private, please make sure to keep the box for Patreon at the bottom of the commission form unchecked.
